150mm Flat Ducting Ceiling Hood Motors

Only use (6") 220mm x 90mm flat or 150mm round ducting when installing outside cooker hood motors. 100mm (4") and 125mm (5") do not have sufficient air flow to provide acceptable extraction rates and will cause the motor to overheat and burn out. 

Keep the run as short as possible, we recommend a maximum run of 6 metres when running the duct flat and a maximum of 2 x 90° bends. Remember the more bends and elbows you use, the less efficient your extraction will be will be slighlty noisier too

When using the flat roof or pitched roof motor options keep the ducting to a maximum of 5 metres straight up from the cooker hood.

 Only use (6") ducting on any ceiling extractor fans unless otherwise stated in the instruction manual
