Luxair Cooker Hoods Limited Terms & Conditions.
Luxair Cooker Hoods Limited operate a policy of continuous improvement and reserves the right to adjust and modify its products and prices without prior notification.
Please Note:
All Luxair kitchen extractors must be installed by a qualified electrician, under no circumstances do we recommended that these appliances be installed by you personally unless qualified to do so. All hoods must be installed in conjunction with the installation manual.
Discounts/Vouchers and Promotions
- Only one discount voucher can be used per order of product.
- Minimum spend amount may need to be achieved in order for the discount code to be applicable.
- We do not offer a price match guarantee, we reserve the right to offer discounts and promotions throughout the year on any product we see fit, once your item has been purchased and delivered we do not offer additional discounts/refunds if that specific item becomes discounted after sale.
- The discounts advertised are only redeemable within the dates advertised at the time and not prior or after the promotion has started/ended.
- You cannot use a Discount Voucher in conjunction with any other sales discounts or promotional offers unless the specific terms relating to the Promotional Discount Codes state that you can combine the Promotional Discount code with other offers.
- Any orders placed that are in conjunction with a special offer free item (such as a free hob with a hood), the full order must be returned in order to receive a refund. If the free item is not returned, this must be paid for at the RRP and cannot be kept free of charge.
- The Discount Voucher will expire on the date specified in the specific terms relating to the Discount Voucher, or before subject to availability of which we will notify you via the website. You cannot use the Promotional Discount Voucher after this date.
- Discount Vouchers have no cash redemption value.
- Our standard terms and conditions of sale apply in respect of any orders placed using Discount Vouchers and the Website terms of use for using our site also apply.
- We reserve the right to vary or discontinue the Discount Voucher scheme at any time.
- By confirming your order using the Discount Voucher you are accepting these terms and conditions. Any terms which you seek to impose in respect of the order for Discount through this site will not form part of any contract between us. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before confirming your order. If you have any queries on these terms please contact us before ordering using a Discount Voucher.
Service Call Check list (before calling our service departments please ensure that the following checks have been done).
- All electrical connections have been installed by a qualified electrician and that a fused spur of 3 amp has been installed for safety.
- Please note if installation is found to be faulty or inadequate installation you will be charged for the call out and parts needed to rectify the problem. Please also make sure your cooker hood is free from obstruction, this includes cooker hoods that may be tiled in and have a fly over shelf, in order for our engineers to have easy and unrestricted access. Any cooker hood that are obstructed will need to be removed prior to our engineer’s arrival at your own cost. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Goods that have been installed and found to be faulty must be treated as a service call and it is up to you, the purchaser to instigate the service call. Goods damaged by incorrect installation procedures or by an unqualified electrician will not be exchanged or replaced however spares can be purchased at an additional cost to you to help rectify the situation.
- All parts purchased for hoods not in warranty will receive a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty as standard, providing they have been installed by a qualified electrician.
- All wall-mounted models (Excluding the Lusso range) must be installed on minimum 125mm ducting. All ceiling models and the Lusso range, must be installed on minimum 150mm ducting or the rectangular equivalent (220 x 90 mm). The Small Slimline ceiling range (LA-CE) are the only models that can be installed on 100mm/4" ducting. Failure to do so will result in your warranty being invalid and any service call will be chargeable as well as parts used to rectify the fault.
- Your model number and serial number must be supplied when making a service claim before any engineer can be organised to attend your hood.
- * Service calls are replied to within 48hrs. The average turn around, if an engineers visit is required, is approximately 14 working days, subject to terms and conditions and customer availability. However, delays may happen due to unforseen circumstances or spare part availability.

- You should ensure that any information supplied by you is correct before proceeding to payment. Luxair Cooker Hoods Limited does not accept responsibility or offer refunds if you provide incorrect information. We will not be held responsible for any errors made by you entering incorrect information.
- The information is available on the Website are provided on an "as is" basis without any representations or endorsements made and without any warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of fitness for purpose, merchantability and accuracy.
- Nothing contained on the website is intended to constitute legal advice of any sort, and the basis on which you acquire or make use of any information or document is that the information or technical advice is suitable for use by you in conjunction with proper advice as to its application and adaptation for your particular requirements. We will not have any liability to you at all if you use any information or advice without obtaining appropriate legal advice nor will we have any responsibility at all for any alterations made to the appliance after you have received it.
- The Website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by other parties. We do not control such websites and we take no responsibility for and will not incur any liability in respect of, their content. - The information within this website and any downloaded media from this website is provided subject to the condition that it shall not, by way of trade or otherwise, be lent, re-sold, hired out or otherwise circulated without the publisher's prior consent in any form of than that in which it is published and without a similar condition including this condition being imposed on the subsequent purchaser.
- Images used on Luxair’s Website may differ from the actual product, this will only include images of the switch/control panels that have been modified and improved during production of goods. All images displayed give a true representation of goods.

Furthermore, no liability can be accepted for loss or expense as a result of using this website. By using the Website you agree that in no circumstance shall The Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of business or profits or any other financial loss, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the Website, under any law or on any basis whatsoever whether contractual or otherwise.
Manufacturer’s Warranty - IMPORTANT: All wall-mounted models (Excluding the Lusso range) must be installed on minimum 125mm ducting. All ceiling models and the Lusso range, must be installed on minimum 150mm ducting or the rectangular equivalent (220 x 90 mm). The Small Slimline ceiling range (LA-CE) are the only models that can be installed on 100mm/4" ducting. Failure to do so will result in your warranty being invalid and any service call will be chargeable as well as parts used to rectify the fault. If your hood is being used in recirculation mode, charcoal filters MUST be used and replaced every 2-3 Months in order to maintain the function of the motor. Using the hood without filters in recirculation mode will Void your warranty.
- 2, 5 and 7 Years parts and labour warranty must be registered within 31 days of installation to be eligible for the free extended warranty. If not registered in this period then a 12 month standard manufacturer’s warranty applies without any product registration. Proof of purchase may be required in the event of a claim. Once your product is registered, you will receive confirmation via email for you to keep as proof of registration. If you do not receive confirmation within 14 days of registering please advise Luxair immediately. It is advised if registering via post to send recorded delivery in the event that we do not have your registration on record in which proof of postage will be accepted. If sent via standard delivery Luxair cannot be held responsible for any warranties lost in transit, it is your responsibility to ensure your warranty form has been registered or alternatively register online.
- The extended warranty does not apply to cosmetic damage caused after installation or after 28 days of delivery of the item, please see exchange or refund of damaged goods section. Luxair do not cover third party repairs on cosmetic damage and costs to do so will not be reimbursed.
- Luxair Cooker Hoods Ltd must be notified immediately of any fault found with the appliance prior to or after installation, any repair done on the appliance prior to Luxair's notification will not be covered under warranty.
- We reserve the right to repair or replace a faulty appliance, where a hood is replaced we do not cover the cost of reinstallation of the new appliance.
- All wall-mounted models (Excluding the Lusso range) must be installed on minimum 125mm ducting. All ceiling models and the Lusso range, must be installed on minimum 150mm ducting or the rectangular equivalent (220 x 90 mm). The Small Slimline ceiling range (LA-CE) are the only models that can be installed on 100mm/4" ducting. - Any goods purchased as end of line stock or ex display models will receive a standard 12 month manufacturer’s warranty and do not qualify for the extended warranty. Please note any display models that are pre 2008 will receive a 0 warranty due to parts being obsolete.
- Please Note that Consumables such as light fittings/bulbs, remote controls and metal grease filters are not covered under warranty, and glass products such as splashbacks/hob glass carry zero warranty due to Luxair being unable to clarify how the product has been installed after breakage has occurred. If a splashback or consumable has arrived damaged please see the exchange of goods section.
- Any items bought second hand or in online auction sites such as eBay will receive 0 warranty due to previous installation information being unobtainable.
- Hoods used for commercial purposes do not qualify for the extended warranty and will receive a 12 month standard manufacturer's warranty from the date of installation. Commercial use includes the following: Pubs (including any on-site accommodation),Offices, Industrial Units, Working farms (including on-site/adjacent residences), Bed & Breakfast Locations, Rented Properties, Hotels, Restaurants, Nurseries, Schools, Nursing homes.
- Hoods that have been modified with new parts that are not Luxair's are not eligible for the extended warranty, all parts inside the appliance must be a Luxair make to qualify for the full 12 month standard and extended warranty.
- Hoods that have been installed in a new build property will receive a 1 year parts and labour warranty from the date the buyer moves in and not the full 7 year warranty.
- All claims must be reported within the warranty period to qualify for the repair of the appliance, any claims made after the expiry date of your warranty will be chargeable even if the fault occurred within the warranty period.
- Full warranty only applies to UK Mainland and Ireland, items installed elsewhere in Europe or any Offshore Islands will receive a parts only warranty and labour will not be covered.
- Third party repairs are not covered under warranty unless pre authorised by Luxair.
- Items installed or sold outside of Europe are covered for 0 warranty and are done so at your own risk as our products are not certified outside of the EU.
- Please note that faults caused by Force Majeure will not be covered under the extended warranty, and the repair will be chargeable to rectify any fault falling under this act.
- 7 Year parts and Labour warranty only applies to certain hoods.
- The extended warranty provided is non-transferable. Once the hood is installed and the extended warranty is registered for, this cannot be transferred to another person if the property is sold.
- Luxair reserve the right to modifiy/upgrade components within the workings of the hood itself at any given point, upon a service call attended by our engineers we will always replace components with the latest version of the part; this may differ to the previously installed component/s. This applies to all components within the hood itself, inclusive of but not limited to; switches, motors, PCB's and light fittings (this also applies to the temperature/kelvin rating of the light fitting itself).
Availability
- All products are subject to availability and may be changed at any time.
- If your order cannot be fulfilled, you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.
- If an order is received for a discontinued product we will automatically provide you with the up-to-date equivalent, providing it is available and the same price as the discontinued model. If this is not the case we will contact you.
- Luxair Cooker Hoods Ltd will not be held liable for any cost incurred due to delay in production/delivery of goods. All goods are manufactured in Italy and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed as there may be unexpected delays in the production, however we aim to keep stock of items to keep disruption to a minimum.
Delivery/Collection
- Upon delivery a signature will be required.
- Delivery dates are estimated at all times and may be delayed without prior notice (e.g. due to sudden stock shortages, manufacturing delays, or delivery vehicle breakdowns), which is why we strongly advise all customers not to book any fitters until they have received the relevant goods, as no claims will be accepted. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any unforeseen delay in delivering goods.
- The day before delivery we endeavour to advise all customers of an estimated AM/PM timeslot.
- You will be notified of your delivery timeslot by email/text between 9am and 5pm the day before delivery providing you have given us sufficient contact details.
- Dependent on the payment method used when placing your order with Luxair, we may not be able to offer a change of address option, or be able to leave your item in a safe-place. We will always do our best to accomodate address changes or leaving your items in a safe-place, however, this is not always possible.
- You cannot choose your own delivery day/timeslot as these are allocated by our automated route planning system. Once issued your timeslot cannot be changed, therefore someone must be present at the delivery address and able to accept the goods upon arrival of our delivery vehicle.
- Once a delivery date has been agreed with yourself you must be in to accept delivery.
- Any redelivery of goods will be subject to an additional delivery charge and will delivered at the next available date.
- Once delivery has been attempted by ourselves, if you are not in to accept delivery and do not notify ourselves that you will not be available, any further delivery attempts will be chargeable.
- Next day deliveries are available upon request and any additional delivery charges will need to be paid prior to Luxair arranging this service. Please contact Luxair for prices to your area.
- Any orders in which you have organised your own collection via a third party agent may be subject to a packaging/pallet collection fee which will be chargeable in full before goods can be collected. Pricing varies dependent on the item ordered.
Returning your product because you've changed your mind
- Please return your item unused and in its original condition (including all labels and tags intact, with no damage to the box) with proof of purchase within 30 days, and we’ll give you an exchange or refund, as long as your returned product meets our terms and conditions and is in a resaleable condition.
- Any item that has been ordered as "Special Order" or "Bespoke" can not be returned under any circumstance for a full refund or credit regardless of whether the item is unused. For example, if you choose a model that requires it to be made in a specific RAL colour code of your own choosing, that is not one of the main colour choices available from Luxair, then this will be a "Bespoke" model and non refundable.
- Any product returned will need to be returned at your own cost. Luxair will not accept responsibilty for goods received back to us in a damaged condition.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm the suitability of their chosen extractor hood prior to placing an order. This includes colour, dimensions, accessories and the choice of ducting kit used for fitting the new extractor hood. Any item ordered that isn't suitable for your installation purposes, may be subject to a re-boxing fee if the goods are returned and not in a resaleable condition, this includes all fixtures, fittings, packaging etc.
- Any orders placed that are in conjunction with a special offer free item (such as a free hob with a hood), the full order must be returned in order to receive a full refund. If the free item is not returned, this must be paid for at the RRP and cannot be kept free of charge.
- Any items that have been modified during your care, regardless of whether they have been used, will not be accepted back for a credit or refund, all items MUST be received back in their original condition to qualify for a refund. Items returned found to have damage to the box, may be subject to a re-boxing fee, which is product dependent and will vary in price.
- Items that have been ordered outside of the UK, will not receive the cost of their original delivery and will be required to arrange their own return of any unwanted goods.
- Once your goods have been dispatched and reached your local depot, if you wish to cancel there may be a return delivery charge deducted from your refund less the original delivery fee if we are charged by the transport company to bring back your goods even if they have not reached you.
Returning a faulty item
If your product develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, please return with proof of purchase and we’ll exchange or refund it.
After 30 days, we’ll repair or replace the product in accordance with the terms of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
For online and telephone purchases, we'll refund the standard delivery charge, any express delivery charges will not be refunded.
- Luxair Cooker Hoods Ltd will exchange any goods found to be damaged on delivery. If possible, please inspect the goods immediately and inform Luxair within 48 hours of any damages. We will require photographic evidence of any damages incurred to your goods.
- Please check the goods and inspect them before you sign and install them. Goods that have been received as damaged and proceeded to be installed will not be exchanged or refunded as these have been accepted.
- If an item is to be returned, then this must be returned at your own cost, unless an agreed collection has been confirmed with Luxair. For damaged hoods reported within 48 hours all return costs will be refunded after inspection has been completed by our warehouse.
- If on inspection the item is found to have been damaged through installation or mishandling of the product, then this will not be refunded and will be returned to you.
- Luxair Cooker Hoods Ltd are not responsible for the cost of fitting/refitting items that are found to be faulty and have been fitted prior to testing the appliance. All electrical items must be tested before proceeding to be fitted in case a faulty item has been received. Once installation has taken place then this wil be dealt with as a service call and no refund / exchange will be offered.
- If after inspection the item has signs of installation and/or has been modified whilst in your possession the item will not be refunded / exchanged.
- Goods that have been installed and found to be faulty, must be treated as a service call and it is up to you the purchaser to instigate the service call. Goods damaged by incorrect installation procedures or by an unqualified electrician will not be exchanged or replaced, however, spares can be purchased at an additional cost to you to help rectify the situation.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
- Luxair may at any time revise these terms and conditions and any revision will accordingly supersede these terms and conditions. Users will therefore be bound by such revised terms and conditions and are advised to regularly review this page.
Entire Agreement:
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between us concerning its subject matter.
General:
Your statutory rights are not affected.
