The Luxair Caporra Island Cooker Hood
is a premium island extractor designed for kitchens where the hood is a central feature. Available in White, Matt Black, and Brushed Stainless Steel, it combines Italian craftsmanship, powerful extraction, and elegant full-surround LED lighting in a clean, contemporary design.
Ideal for kitchen islands, open-plan spaces, Scandi kitchens, shaker designs, and modern interiors, the Caporra Island is available in 90cm and 120cm widths to suit different hob and island layouts.
Its standout feature is the full dimmable LED surround ring, which runs around the outer edge of the hood. This provides bright, even task lighting over the hob while also creating soft ambient illumination across the kitchen when dimmed.
Powered by an A+ rated 700 m³/hr motor, the Caporra Island uses Venturi perimeter extraction to draw air evenly around the edge of the hood. This improves capture performance while reducing noise by up to 25% / 3dB compared with conventional island cooker hood designs, making it especially suitable for open-plan kitchen-dining spaces.
The central chimney design creates balanced airflow and a symmetrical appearance from every angle, making the Caporra Island a natural fit above a kitchen island. It can be installed as a ducted island extractor using 150mm round or 220mm x 90mm flat ducting, or configured for recirculation with optional charcoal filters.
Heavy-duty dishwasher-safe metal grease filters are included as standard, and the hood is backed by Luxair’s free 7-year parts and labour warranty when registered after installation.
