Luxair Asciuvia — Built-In Canopy Cooker Hood with No-Drip Technology

Let your cooking make an impression. Not condensation.

Enjoy cooking without the frustration of water dripping from your cooker hood onto your hob, cookware or food. The Luxair Asciuvia combines discreet canopy styling with an advanced anti-condensation system designed to prevent those unwanted drips, making it an especially useful companion for induction cooking.

Built into your kitchen cabinetry, Asciuvia keeps the focus on your kitchen’s design while bringing a practical improvement to everyday cooking. From simmering sauces to preparing a family meal, its defining feature addresses a problem that ordinary extraction alone can leave behind.

Ideal for Induction Hob Cooking

Induction hobs heat the pan directly, transferring less heat into the surrounding air. While your food still produces plenty of steam, the cooker hood above can remain relatively cool. When warm vapour meets this cooler surface, condensation can form and drip back onto your hob, cookware or food.

The Luxair Asciuvia is particularly suited to induction cooking thanks to its active anti-condensation technology. Its heated lower panel helps prevent condensation forming, while the internal evaporation system manages residual moisture without a water container to empty.

Whether you’re boiling pasta, steaming vegetables or simmering a sauce, Asciuvia helps keep unwanted drips away from your cooking making it an ideal partner for your induction hob.

How the no-drip system works

Controlled heating warms the hood’s lower panel to help prevent cooking vapour from condensing on its surface. Inside, a dedicated filter intercepts residual moisture, which collects in a heated internal tray and evaporates.

This continuous evaporation process means there is no condensate container to remove or empty. Activate the anti-condensation function when needed; a timer switches it off automatically.

For the person cooking, the benefit is straightforward: fewer interruptions from overhead drips and less condensation landing where you are preparing and serving food.

Kitchen Cabinet Protection

Help protect your kitchen cabinets from steam and cooking vapours with an integrated cooker hood designed to reduce exposure to moisture. Protective side panels and an ergonomic front visor help shield surrounding wall units, keeping your cabinetry looking its best for longer.

Discreet design, everyday practicality

A canopy cooker hood is a natural choice when you want extraction integrated into the kitchen’s cabinetry. Asciuvia brings that understated appearance together with a feature you can appreciate every time a steam-filled cooking session would otherwise leave droplets overhead.

Its appeal goes beyond appearance. Avoiding drips helps keep the hob area tidier and removes the annoyance of having to wipe away water falling from the hood while you cook. It is a thoughtful addition to a kitchen designed around everyday use.

What makes Asciuvia different

  • No-drip condensation control: designed to prevent water droplets falling from the hood onto the cooking area.

Home Visit & Installation Advice
Confused? Unsure? Let Us Help You Choose A Kitchen Extractor

Luxair Cooker Hoods now offer a site visit by one of our qualified in-house engineers, where they will advise on the best option regarding what cooker hood suits your kitchen needs, they can also advise on the best way to run your ducting or if re-circulation may be best for your setup.

An installation service is also available upon request and completion of a Site or home Survey. Prices will vary dependent on installation
required and will be quoted once an engineer has made his visit and all necessary observations are made in relation to your cooker hood
installation.

What you need to know:

Another important reason to consider a site survey is to identify the most suitable cooker hood for the location of your kitchen or bathroom.

We will look at the very best option, taking into consideration the size of your kitchen, if the ceiling construction is suitable for a ceiling cooker hood, any potential regulation requirements and above all the correct motor size and ducting route to give you the optimum extraction you require.

Your Site Survey:

During a site survey, your Luxair engineer will discuss your requirements, taking
into consideration the appropriate extraction output for the room, the relevant location within the kitchen and the most suitable
ducting system for your cooker hood. If the installation is new, the
site survey will identify the requirements for the ducting system,
ventilation and clearances to any combustible materials to maintain safe use. The site survey will allow your Luxair engineer to provide you with the best advice, consequently avoiding any unexpected expense.

Please Note: All site surveys will be booked in directly with the engineers, who will contact you within 1 - 7 working days of your payment being processed. Our engineers will call you to arrange a date and time that is convenient to you. Book Here
