Como Wall Cooker Hood — Matt Black with LED Illuminated Centre Ring. Powerful 800m³/hr Motor. Circular Perimeter Extraction.

The Como is a matt black wall mounted cooker hood with a circular steel ring positioned at the centre of the hood face, surrounded by LED lighting that creates a halo glow when the hood is running. The colour is in the ring, not the fascia - a single focal point against the matt black body that changes character entirely depending on the finish. Gold for warmth and luxury. Copper for an artisan, earthy kitchen aesthetic. Gun metal for a dark, industrial tone on tone look. Stainless steel for a clean, architectural contrast.

This is a different design proposition from a full coloured fascia. Where the Monza applies colour across the entire hood face, the Como concentrates it into a single circular detail - more restrained, more architectural, and more compatible with kitchen schemes where a subtle designer accent is preferable to a bold statement surface. The LED halo around the ring adds a lighting dimension that activates when the hood is on - the ring is not just a colour detail, it becomes a lit feature in the kitchen.

Illuminated centre ring — how it works

The circular centre ring is finished in gold, copper, gun metal, or stainless steel, and is surrounded by an LED halo light that illuminates around the perimeter of the ring when the hood operates. The effect is visible in the lifestyle imagery: a warm glow that turns the circular ring into a lit focal point rather than a passive design detail. The ring sits flush with the matt black hood face, creating a clean, geometric contrast between the circular galvanised steel element and the flat black body around it.

Circular perimeter extraction and performance

The Como uses a circular perimeter aspiration system — drawing air through the full perimeter of the circular led frame rather than a single central grille. A powerful 800m³/hr 4 speed motor with intensive boost mode, powers the Como with electronic touch controls, timer and automatic switch off. Washable multilayer aluminium grease filters. LED hob lighting. Energy class A. Ducted via 125–150mm outlet with non return valve, or recirculating with optional charcoal or plasma filters.

Luxair
Cooker Hoods now offer a site visit by one of our qualified in-house
engineers, where they will advise on the best option regarding what
cooker hood suits your kitchen needs, they can also advise on the best
way to run your ducting or if re-circulation may be best for your
setup.

An installation service is also available upon request and
completion of a Site or home Survey. Prices will vary dependent on
installation required and will be quoted once an engineer has made his
visit and all necessary observations are made in relation to your cooker
hood installation.

What you need to know:

Another
important reason to consider a site survey is to identify the most
suitable cooker hood for the location of your kitchen or bathroom.

We will look at the very best option, taking into consideration the size
of your kitchen, if the ceiling construction is suitable for a ceiling
cooker hood, any potential regulation requirements and above all the
correct motor size and ducting route to give you the optimum extraction
you require.

Your Site Survey:

During a
site survey, your Luxair engineer will discuss your requirements, taking
into consideration the appropriate extraction output for the room, the
relevant location within the kitchen and the most suitable
ducting system for your cooker hood. If the installation is new, the
site survey will identify the requirements for the ducting system,
ventilation and clearances to any combustible materials to maintain safe
use. The site survey will allow your Luxair engineer to provide you
with the best advice, consequently avoiding any unexpected expense.
