Finding your serial number is easy.

Remove the metal grease filters from your extractor hood. On the inner underside of the main body, you will find a silver or white label showing your SKU and serial number (label type depends on the age of the appliance).

Your extractor will display one of the following — only one is required:

S/N (e.g. S/N 1234567)
Manufacture date (e.g. July 2006)
LOTTO number (e.g. LOTTO 1234567)

Important — this remote requires pairing

This fob does not connect automatically. It must be paired before use. The pairing process for this remote involves a 60-second time window — read all five steps carefully before you begin and have the remote in hand and ready before you start:

Turn the power off at the mains
While the power is off, press and hold any button on the remote — keep holding it down throughout the next step
While still holding the button down, turn the power back on at the mains — continue holding the button for at least 10 seconds after the power comes back on
After 10 seconds have elapsed, release the button, then press any button on the remote once more
The entire process from step 3 must be completed within 60 seconds of turning the power back on

The appliance should now respond to the remote. If pairing is unsuccessful on the first attempt, repeat from step 1. The most common cause of failure is releasing the button too early in step 3 or taking longer than 60 seconds to complete step 4. If you continue to have difficulty, contact our UK-based support team and we'll guide you through it.

What it controls

Once paired, the remote gives you full wireless control of your appliance:

Fan speed — cycle through all available extraction speeds
Lighting — turn the light on and off (where applicable)
Power — turn the appliance on and off without reaching up to the controls

For ceiling cooker hoods mounted overhead and bathroom fans fitted at ceiling height, wireless control is a practical convenience that makes everyday use significantly easier.

How to confirm compatibility — find your serial number

If you're not certain this is the correct fob from the images alone, provide your serial number when ordering and our team will confirm before despatch. Remove the grease filters or access panel from your appliance. On the inner body you will find a silver or white label showing one of the following — you only need one:

S/N — for example: S/N 1234567
Manufacture date — for example: July 2006
LOTTO number — for example: LOTTO 1234567
