The Pista is a 120cm recirculating only ceiling extractor designed for kitchens where running ducting to an outside wall or through a ceiling void is not possible. It mounts directly to the ceiling surface - no void access required, no structural work - and filters extracted air through a carbon filter system before returning it to the kitchen. No external duct. No outside wall. No ceiling void needed.

At 120cm wide, the Pista is one of the largest recirculating ceiling extractors available in the UK market, suited to kitchen islands with 90cm to 120cm hobs and open plan layouts where a wide, slim ceiling mounted extractor is the only practical solution. Available in two colour variants: white body with black glass fascia and white glass door panel, or a black body with black glass fascia and white glass door panel. Both feature the same two tone glass design - a black frame with a contrasting white glass door panel that creates a clean, premium aesthetic at ceiling level.

Who the Pista is for

The Pista is specifically designed for situations where ducted extraction isn't achievable. Apartments and first floor flats where running ducting through the structure is prohibited or impractical. Kitchen extensions with solid ceilings that have no void above them. Island kitchens where the ceiling above is inaccessible or where running a duct through the ceiling would require significant structural work. Open plan kitchen diners where a ceiling mounted extractor keeps the space above the island clean and uncluttered. If any of these describes your kitchen, the Pista is designed for you.

Performance and specification

Powered by a 900m³/hr motor, as well as 6 integrated LED lights providing clear, even illumination over the cooking area. Long life carbon matt filters draw air and odours through the filter which is returned clean to the kitchen. Surface mounted ceiling design installs directly onto the ceiling surface with no requirement for a ceiling void above. 120cm × 50cm body dimensions. Suitable for use above hobs from 90cm to 120cm wide.

Luxair Cooker Hoods now offer a site visit by one of our qualified in-house engineers, where they will advise on the best option regarding what cooker hood suits your kitchen needs, they can also advise on the best way to run your ducting or if re-circulation may be best for your setup.

An installation service is also available upon request ancompletion of a Site or home Survey. Prices will vary dependent on installation required and will be quoted once an engineer has made his visit and all necessary observations are made in relation to your cookehood installation.

Another important reason to consider a site survey is to identify the most suitable cooker hood for the location of your kitchen or bathroom.

We will look at the very best option, taking into consideration the size of your kitchen, if the ceiling construction is suitable for a ceiling

cooker hood, any potential regulation requirements and above all the
correct motor size and ducting route to give you the optimum extraction you require.

Your Site Survey:

During a site survey, your Luxair engineer will discuss your requirements, taking into consideration the appropriate extraction output for the room, the relevant location within the kitchen and the most suitable ducting system for your cooker hood. If the installation is new, the site survey will identify the requirements for the ducting system, ventilation and clearances to any combustible materials to maintain safe use. The site survey will allow your Luxair engineer to provide you with the best advice, consequently avoiding any unexpected expense.
